Stay & Play - Frequently asked questions

What if I’ve never trained before?

That’s completely fine.

Many guests visiting SOMA Fight Club are new to combat sports. Classes are designed to accommodate different levels, and coaches will help you learn the fundamentals at your own pace.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

You’re welcome to bring your own gloves and wraps if you have them, but it’s not required.

Glove and shin guard hire is available at the gym. We also have a store onsite where you can purchase training gear and clothing.

Where will I stay?

Stay & Play includes accommodation in private rooms located in areas that are either a 3 minute walk or short scooter ride from the gym.

Accommodation varies depending on the package level, but all options provide comfortable private rooms in lifestyle friendly areas that are suitable for relaxing and recovering between training sessions.

Can I bring a partner or friend?

Yes. Some guests travel with partners or friends who may or may not be training.

If this applies to you, contact the team before booking so we can help arrange the best accommodation option.

What visa do I need for Bali?

Many visitors enter Bali using a Visa on Arrival, which allows stays of up to 30 days and can often be extended.

You can also purchase an e-VOA (Electronic Visa on Arrival) through the official immigration website here: https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/ before you travel, which can save you time at the airport by avoiding the visa payment queue.

Visa rules vary depending on your passport, so it’s best to check the latest information before travelling.

Will I meet other people?

Yes. Many guests travel solo and quickly meet others through classes and shared training sessions.

SOMA Fight Club also hosts regular community events, which makes it easy to connect with other members and visitors outside of training. The gym has a welcoming and social atmosphere, so most people find it easy to settle in and meet others during their stay.
